$100,000 acquisition loan

With a $100,000 acquisition loan from the Genesis Fund, a $25,000 grant from the Islands Challenge Fund as addition fundraising, MISCA was able to purchase a home and land enough to build a second affordable home.  The exisiting house has been sold to year-round residents and work is underway to begin the second home. - 2005
